Mistubishi Chemical Cleansui’s original proprietary filtration system ensures a superior level of performance. The unique and advanced filtration system uses a combination of filtering net, ceramics and activated carbon with hollow-fibre membrane filters. The microporous hollow-fibre membrane is a sophisticated filter that removes particles as small as 0.1 micrometers from tap water. This unique membrane ensures that contaminants, including 99.99% of bacteria, are removed, while allowing beneficial minerals to remain in the water.

This technology is core to each and every one of our filters, ensuring clean, healthy and tasty water, every time.

Cleansui’s hollow-fibre membrane has pores ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 microns in size.

The membrane is composed of several layers of slit-like structures. Bacteria and suspended solid particles larger than 0.1 microns are trapped by the structures, and blocked near the surface of the membrane, allowing only clean water through.
